There is no denying, the trendsetting ability of Apple products. Recently, Apple has been able to take the original retro white plastic look and make it into something sleek and new. The new white iPhone 4s and the new white iPod Touch are probably two of the coolest and sleekest looking products available. The cool factor of Apple white has carried over to many other products from kitchen appliances to non-iPod mp3 players.
Hardcore Apple enthusiasts will probably have both the iPhone and the iPod touch. Apple iPhone users who want to get the most out of their expensive device may just use the iPhone for their multimedia needs, since the iPhone has everything the iPod Touch has and more. Those of us who prefer to have multiple devices for communication and media, or owners of Android phones can get a lot out of owning an iPod Touch.
The iPod Touch has all of the multimedia features of the iPhone, except the actual phone capabilities. With the iPod Touch you can iMessage, record HD video, play games and download apps, and of course, listen to music. The white iPod Touch also has the new iOS 5 operating system and access to the new iCloud, so storage is no longer an iPod issue. The iPod Touch has a lot to offer and the new white model is ultra stylish.
White Sansa Mp3 Players
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the Sansa mp3 players, they have a decent sound, they are fairly inexpensive and the quality is good. Although, the thing I like the most about the Sansa Mp3 players are the slotRadio cards. These are preloaded cards that come with 1000 songs in the genre of your choice. No downloading or planning required, just pop in the card and start listening. These are great for people who haven’t had time to create playlists or download songs yet. These are also great for people who are a little tech wary and make great mp3 player gifts for mom.
Visual Land V-Touch Pro 4 GB 3-Inch Touch Screen MP3 Player
This player comes with a 3 inch color touch screen, a 2 MP built in camera, voice recorder, FM radio, and an expandable MicroSD card slot. This isn’t an iPod which is good pricewise, it runs about 60$. Then again would you be better off investing that much into a nicer player? It really depends on your needs. If you want an inexpensive little player that you can upload mp3 files onto without worrying about dealing with proprietary Apple restrictions, and a player that you can drop or damage without losing a major investment then this little player will fit the bill.
It is lightweight and fairly easy to use. It’s no iPod, but it is inexpensive and will allow you to listen to your mp3s, along with a few other no frill applications. You won’t impress your friends with this player, unless they are thrifty or hate the idea of dealing with iTunes. Not a bad player for the price and actually looks pretty nice.
White Sony Mp3 Player With Bluetooth Wireless Headphones
Sony was the company that started it all when it comes to portable media and they still are a player in the mp3 player market. The new Sony NWZS764WHI 8GB S Series MP3 Player White with Bluetooth Wireless Headphones is actually an amazing little device. It is small and lightweight and very nice looking. It has Sony style and sound quality and costs less than an iPod. It also comes with two sets of comfortable earphones. One is corded and one is bluetooth.
Having comfortable headphones alone sets this player apart from the Apple models, but also having blue tooth is really a nice upgrade. You can’t go wrong with this little player and it is one of my favorites. It is also new and will be making it onto my new 2011 top 10 mp3 player list. This player comes with a 2 inch color LCD screen, has wireless photo transfer, great sound quality, and a long battery life. This player is a little smaller than an iPod Nano and an all around favorite new player.
The bottom line is there are some sleek new white mp3 players that will blow away features of previous mp3 players and fit in any price range. The iPod Touch is truly a work of art, but other brands have a lot to offer at better price points. White may be the new black, but it is still all about style.
